Everyday life has become pretty mundane at this moment combined with January blues, it's safe to day we could all use some escape right now. Even though, we might not be able to go anywhere, we have put together a few tips to turn your bathroom into your very own luxury spa, to improve our emotional well-being and simply just have something to look forward to. Whether this becomes a weekly ritual or a one-off experience, let's give it a go!
1. Leave your troubles at the door.Â
Just like when you enter a spa, the intention is to leave your home life, work-life and any outside noise at the door. So just as you would do at the spa, walk into your at-home spa with a quiet mind.Â
2. Set the mood lighting.Â
Turn down the lights and light up a couple of scented candles to create a comfortable and relaxing ambience. Candles are a great way to set the mood, a candles flame help soothe the soul, create self-awareness and reduce stress.Â
3. Use of therapeutic Aromatherapy.Â
Light up our aromatherapy Ansei candle, infused with essential oils of peppermint, eucalyptus and mandarin, this is a calming blend to soothe and relieve anxiety.Â
Another way to add aromatherapy to your bath time is through our Ansei bath salts, combined with essential oils, Himalayan salt rocks and dead sea salts. These minerals work together to relieve muscle pain and stabilise fluid levels in the body.Â
4. DIY skin therapy.Â
Face masks are essential for at-home spa, you also don't need to spend a lot on a super cleansing face mask. Here is a recipe for a DIY anti-oxidant rich blueberry face mask, that we absolute love, it is so good you could eat it!
